Ultimate Frisbee is played with a disc between two teams of 7 players on a field that resembles a small football field.

Play is continuous and most commonly only stops if the disc is dropped or a point is made.

The disc is advanced by throwing it from player to player until it is caught in the endzone. The player may not move once catching the disc.

The defence can take posession of the disc by causing the offense to drop the disc or by catching it themselves. Once turned over, they may begin to attempt to make it to their own endzone.

The UPA website sums up the game in a very easy to understand set of 10 rules. Visit it here.
